ODEON says...Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney Pixar's 'Onward' introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there.
Definitely worth seeing.
Film really takes off about half way through, after an odd early section (hence 4 stars). The finale is a triumph and is actually very moving. If you have lost a loved one at any age, then you will empathise with the feelings of the boys in the movie.
What a lovely film. Took my 5 year old son and he enjoyed it. Not the funniest of films if that's what you're looking for, but really heart warming
and at times emotional- we were both blubbing at one point so he was obviously following it well. I'd recommend it but be prepared if like myself you've lost a parent as it will touch close to home.
