ODEON says...
A fast-living, cynical London music executive heads to a remote Cornish village on a stag weekend where he's pranked by his boss into trying to sign a group of shanty singing fishermen.

He becomes the ultimate 'fish out of water' as he struggles to gain the respect or enthusiasm of the unlikely boy band and their families who value friendship and community over fame and fortune.

As he's drawn deeper into the traditional way of life he's forced to re-evaluate his own integrity and ultimately question what success really means.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film. A real feel good experience. It's the first film I have persuaded my husband to go and see in at least 10 years and he thoroughly enjoyed it too. A really uplifting experience. Will go again or definitely buy the DVD

Best film I have seen in a long time, people even clapped at the end! We were singing in the cinema and long after. Very funny, but I also cried! Made me feel good about life! Great music. I'll be going again! 10/10!

Haven't enjoyed a film that much since Full Monty & Billy Elliot. loved being in the company of the characters and their world so much I didn't want it to end (although The Waterboys' "Fisherman's Blues" as an end title track softened the blow! 5*
