ODEON says...
Jane Austen's beloved comedy about finding your equal and earning your happy ending, is reimagined in this delicious new film adaptation of 'Emma'. Handsome, clever, and rich, Emma Woodhouse is a restless queen bee without rivals in her sleepy little town.

In this glittering satire of social class and the pain of growing up, Emma must adventure through misguided matches and romantic missteps to find the love that has been there all along.

Boring

After all the hype we expected much more, Slow, boring and an excellent cure for insomnia.

Fantastic, couldn't stop laughing throughout!

Match-making

...that goes wrong. How privileged the English aristocracy were to indulge in this way, while the Napoleonic War raged - not a soldier on leave in sight. Nicely tailored costumes. Finely painted decors. Mia Goth works hard to inject some humour

I was really looking forward to seeing this after seeing the cast. How disappointing! It lacked everything it claimed to be. Dull, unfunny and boring. My husband thought exactly the same.
