ODEON says....

Mildred Hayes’ daughter Angela was murdered months ago, and the police still haven’t made any arrests. To get their attention, she buys advertising space on ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.

With giant writing calling out the police on their failure just outside town, Mildred hopes they’ll finally make some progress on the case. But William Willoughby, the chief of police, has a lot of friends in town, and soon the argument between them blows up into all-out war.

A biting black comedy from the director of ‘In Bruges’, ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.

Don't miss

One not to miss. Brilliant acting and an unusual storyline with layers involving other characters. A definite Oscar contender.

Quite riveting. Strong characters and story line. Love it or hate it, I loved it. Dark humour in handfuls up to the laughing out loud point. Watch that woman, she’s frightening.

A Must

a very good film, is it oscar worthy? Well it depends on the other films I am yet to see. Good performances all round, the film is very good on creating scenes. Its a must if you follow the oscar/bafta band wagon.

It is a well made movie but it suffers from lack of direction. It can't decide whether the point is finding the villain or whether to delve into sociology. Overall I struggled a bit.
