ODEON says...

Christine ‘Lady Bird’ McPherson is a young girl who spends almost all her time fighting against her mother – with whom she has more in common than she’d like to admit.

They both care deeply for each other, but they’re also extremely opinionated, strong-willed and always sure that they’re right. As Lady Bird grows up, determined to go to university, we observe how their relationship constantly changes and defines them both.

Greta Gerwig makes her acclaimed directorial debut with ‘Lady Bird’, starring Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf.

A bit weird!

I found this movie very different to what I had expected. Saoirse Ronan's acting is brilliant, but unfortunately I would not rate this as one of the top movies of the year.
